The center for disease control in the United States of America claims that more than half of the clinical visits are attributed to the baby boomers and it is a big sign that this generation is aging very fast. Who are baby boomers and what are their aging statistics? |
Baby boomers are the people who were born during the World War II and from 1946 to 1964. The baby boomers have been visiting doctors on multiple problems like arthritis, disorders, cancer, joint pains and blood pressure. Also, they deal with multiple problems at the same time. The statistics for aging baby boomers have been rising consistently and it has now reached to a 52 percent including all categories. There are several other problems when it comes to these statistics. Many of them fall into the category of non insured and these people will probably never visit the doctor.
Another problem with this generation is though they all suffer with common conditions and problems each person reacts differently to even common medications. There has been a sudden rise in the baby boomer population and has been realized only through the clinical visits.
The reason why they are called baby boomers is because here has been a considerable amount of population explosion during this period and suddenly all of them are ageing together and are countering multiple health problems at the same time. In the next 25 years, there will be more baby boomers and then also a sudden decline will be experienced. The population growth has not been stable which has led to the sudden rise in this generation and the sudden fall of this generation is also inevitable.
