Generation X is people who were born in the post World War II period when there was a baby boom. That is why they are also called the baby boomers. Actually baby boomers or the generation X people had a great dress sense compared to people who belong to the newer generations like Y and Z. |
Generation X people had an accentuated dress sense and for them dignity and crispness were the most important factors. Revealing did not make any sense to this generation and it still does not. This generation mainly functioned based on other’s view points and what people would think. So the dress style, living style and everything else depended on how people would react to it. The newer generation could not care less of what people would think of them. They can take their jeans as low as hey can and when someone looks they ask them to mid their own business. There is a drastic change in thinking from generation X to generation Y.
The fashion for generation X is anything but casual and they do not believe in being casual even in this day and age. You could find the baby boomers dressed up completely at the work place and the generation Z would not dress like that even for a wedding. A suit may be normal for a man who belong s to generation x however the other generations do not even relate to it. At the same time the generations X does not bother to wonder the current fashion and they are more inclined on getting their work done.
