Normal Estrogen Level for Postmenopause

Menopause is a condition where a woman experiences a complete stop in the menstrual cycle. During the post menopause period the body is well adjusted to the lack of periods and also the minimal functioning of uterus during that period.

After menopause, in the post menopause stage, a woman's body produces extremely low levels of estrogen and progesterone and this is one of the reasons why women lose the gloss from their skin and also they start looking much older. Estrogen has several roles to play in a woman’s body. It is responsible in keeping the skin healthy, and also maintains a good texture in hair and skin. When women start ageing they lose hair, hair texture and also develop rough skin.

Most of these problems are attributed to the lack of estrogen in the body. The best way to lead a healthy and normal life style even after menopause is by taking vitamin supplements with vitamin E and B complex vitamins which compensate for the loss of estrogen in the body. However, a woman has to start taking these supplements much before they start menopause and may be in their middle age itself.

Aging, menopause and post menopause are natural life processes and all women go through it irrespective of what they think and feel. Therefore, one has to prepare more smartly for the different stages in life by taking the right supplements and following the right life style. Exercise and healthy life style can help women maintain better figure and skin tone after menopause. A normal estrogen level can be maintained in the body in the post menopause stage through diet and exercise.
