Define Contribution Plan:
This is an annual contribution pension plan where the funds are contributed for each participant. The participant will receive the funds based on the vested portion of the pension that has accumulated along with interest earnings.
Defined Benefit Plan:
In this type of pension plan a projected benefit is calculated for each made and the employer must provide the benefit based on actuarial tables.
