Cost Of Dentures

Dentures can cost between few hundred dollar and thousand dollars. However, the cost of dentures also determines the quality of the dentures. The cheaper the denture, the more basic will be the type of denture. In addition, cheaper dentures also may not have a comfortable fit because of the material used to construct in. Of course, when you are calculating the cost of dentures, do not forget to add the dentist's fees, checkup costs and other administrative costs that the dentist might charge.

Nearly all dentists will offer you dentures that range from the cheapest to the most expensive model. Remember, the premium models will always come with guarantees and warranties, while with the economy models you would have to bear the expense for repairs.

Premium models of dentures cost between $1,000 and $5,000 for upper and lower jaw. The models will look more like natural teeth, they will be comfortable to wear, and fit will also be quite good. The teeth will not chip or break that easily in these models.

On the other hand, a simple and basic model of dentures will cost around $300. Although you may think that these models might be right for you, think again. If you wear them, people will easily be able to make out that you have a set of false teeth as these models do not look realistic enough to pass them off as real and natural teeth.

The in between models will cost not more than $1,000, and will have a warranty of around 1 to 2 years. Invariably people opt for these models as they suit most people's budget and offer comfort and quality similar to what the high-end models offer.

If you are wondering how much will a denture for just one jaw cost, just take the above prices and divide them by two. However, remember the prices are just estimates. Your half or full denture may cost more or less than what is highlighted here.
